"Delia!" Wyatt stood up, locking eyes with her across the room.
Delia wasn't sure how long she'd been staring at him. All she knew was that her eyes were brimming with tears, blurring her vision.
Wyatt let out a quiet sigh and gently patted her shoulder. "Hey, don't cry now."
Delia wiped her face, took a deep breath to calm herself down, and tugged at his hand to sit back down. "Wyatt... So you really..."
"Yeah," he nodded. "Woke up on the train this morning and totally freaked out. Never thought stuff like this would happen to me. And you too? Honestly, I was planning to test the waters a bit, but you shouting my name like that? Gave it away instantly."
Delia felt like her whole worldview had just flipped upside down. So these things were actually real?
She suddenly reached out and grabbed his hand. "Wyatt, how... how did you come back? Unless..."
He didn't try to hide it. Giving her hand a light pat, he said, "You're right. I died too."
