Chapter 940 Unable to Fall Asleep
“You have done so much all these years. Young Master Tyr should not hate you.”
“You saw it for yourselves, how powerful Young Master Tyr is nowadays. As long as the father and son decide to join forces, I believe you will be able to get back everything that originally belonged to both of you.”
Every single word Raiden Black said touched Draco Summers’s heart. Raiden was right; if Tyr Summers could work together with Draco, not just the Summers family, they would be invincible in the north.
If the father and son were of the same mind, their forces could cut through metal.
However, how likely was it for Tyr to reaccept Draco?
If Tyr was willing to accept his father when Draco visited Tyr at his house, Tyr would not have been so indifferent.
However, Draco only had himself to blame, he knew that Tyr loathed Lyra Jade and Kirin Summers the most, yet he had rubbed it on his face and mentioned stuff like ‘blood is thicker than water’ to him. In the end, it had backfired, and Tyr only hated him more.
Back then, Draco did not have any ulterior motive when he did that. He did that to protect Tyr. He did not think Tyr would oppose the Summers family. So, he wanted Tyr to compromise, hand his bone marrow to the Summers family, and completely cut off his relationship with the Summers family.
That way, Tyr would not come to the north, and he would not be repressed by the family.
Still, Draco had underestimated Tyr’s abilities. All the grudges that happened between Tyr and the Summers family had to be resolved one day.
Avoidance solved nothing.
Draco picked up the bottle of wine again. He fiercely drank a mouthful of it
and laughed bitterly. “Is it even possible for me to make up with Tyr?”

Tyr sat alone on the room’s windowsill in the stillness of the night and looked at the full moon outside the window.
He had just come back from the drinking session with Sophia Zanatta and Isaiah Yoder. Despite being a very good drinker, he was a little drunk today. So much so that he felt a mild headache and had trouble sleeping after several attempts.
He leaned against the windowsill, lit himself a cigarette, and took a deep puff.
The full moon in the sky emitted a soft moonlight, the stars shone all around it, and the insects’ buzzing could be heard from the bush outside.
Tyr picked up his phone. He wanted to call Winifred Zea via a video call. But it was a little late now. Finally, he just dismissed the idea.
Those incidents that happened lately were constantly replaying themselves in his mind. Simultaneously, the scene that took place today, where he exchanged glances with Draco on the iron boat, just kept lingering upon his mind.
Tyr’s feeling toward Draco was pretty unique.
As a matter of fact, even he was not sure whether he hated Draco or not.
Ten years ago, when Tyr was driven out of the Summers family, he had hated Draco very much. That was because when he was being bullied, his father did nothing about it. Anyone in his shoes would have resented his father.
However, today, Tyr had seen Draco’s helplessness. Tyr was an adult now; his temperament had undergone a great transformation.
Back then, Draco had tried his best, but at the same time, it also showed how powerless he had been. He did want to protect his son, but, in the end, there was nothing he could do about it.
Tyr involuntarily recalled the memory of being driven out of the Summers family ten years ago.
The old mistress had looked at him as if he was a calamity with disgust written all over her face. Lyra and Kirin laughed coldly at the side. They hated Tyr so much that they were eager to send him off to the abyss of eternal destruction.
Only Draco, he even went to the extent of kneeling before the old mistress to save Tyr’s life. However, that wicked old hag’s heart seemed to be made of steel; no matter how much Draco pleaded, she did not change her mind.
In the end, Tyr was driven out of the Summers family. Yet, they continued to send hitmen after him and attempted to take his life. If it wasn’t Draco, who had secretly sent his men to protect Tyr in the streets, perhaps he would have died long ago.
Tyr smiled when he thought about all these. He took a deep breath and muttered to himself, “Draco, I have no idea whether I should thank you or hate you.
“Actually, a lot of hatred has been washed away throughout the decade, but why do you have to come to me and lecture me about how ‘blood is thicker than water’? Didn’t you ask for all of these?
Tyr tossed the cigarette butt in his hand to the side and continued, “Grandpa, Big Brother, you two had left and not returned since. Where have you two been? Are both of you still alive in this world?
“If you guys had remained in the Summers family, perhaps we wouldn’t be in such a mess now, right?”
Tyr’s feelings were very conflicted deep down. After all, one should not be indifferent to others.
When he was living overseas, Tyr could face any of his opponents calmly. He did not have the slightest mercy for all his enemies. If he decided to crush an enemy, he would destroy them to the point of no return. He would make sure that his enemy had died and send them straight to the eighteen levels of hell.
Tyr’s style of handling things also laid the foundation for Regal Palace to expand overseas.
This time, when Tyr returned to the north and finally faced Summers’ family for real, it was as if his heart had grown soft.
After all, blood is thicker than water!
He simply leaned against the window and fell asleep in a daze. When he woke up the next day, it was already dawn.
The summer had begun this year. The north’s weather was not as hot as the south, but the morning sunshine’s early rays still felt quite warm.
The sun shone upon Tyr and woke him up from his sleep.
He opened his eyes in a daze. His head still hurt. The headache caused by the hangover was something that he had not experienced in years.
Not long after he awoke, his phone rang.
Tyr picked up the phone and answered it. It was a phone call from Carson Yorke. “Tyr, I’ve received the news about what happened between you and the Summers family on Pine River yesterday.”
Tyr was baffled and said, “Uncle Yorke, you’re remarkable. You even receive news from so far away?”
Carson replied, “Although the north and the south rarely get involved with each other, we still have some business in the north. Also, we have lots of informers in the north.
“Tyr, it’s hard to believe thatKirin would actually pull such a crazy stunt yesterday. You beat Luc Mills in the first half. But, in the second half of the event, Kirin had a tight clamp around you, driving you into passivity. Do you admit that?”
Carson’s words made Tyr frown slightly. In fact, he was also thinking about the same issue.
It might seem like Tyr had won the combat yesterday, but Tyr was still overpowered.
“Uncle Yorke, if you have anything to say, spill,” Tyr said.
Carson continued, “Yesterday, Kirin had gone straight into madness at the end of it. If he had really wanted to get you, Kirin would have done that regardless of the consequences. However, you were trapped in a lamb-like situation because you were representing Six Door. And as an agent of Six Doors, you are required to do things by the books.”
