Davis’s POV:
I swiped the spare key card for the presidential suite of a five-star hotel in downtown, stepped in, and stopped outside the bedroom. Then, I knocked.
“Come in.”
I pushed open the door.
There, in front of the wooden desk, Mr. Robinson, in a black robe, was going over documents.
I rushed over. “Mr. Robinson, something’s up with Miss Scarlett.”

His pen tore through the paper. He tossed it aside and stood up abruptly. “What happened?”
He was already moving toward the wardrobe.
Seeing this, I quickly explained, “She’s fine… it’s just that she’s trending online. Not in a good way.”
He froze mid-step, turned, and narrowed his eyes. “You couldn’t have said that one ago?”

He exhaled slowly. “Explain.”
