Somewhere To Turn

It has been weeks since the incident between Jane and I, and I have been avoiding her and her brother. Jack has tried to apologize on countless occasions, but I will never forgive him. I now sleep in his bedroom and I only come out to do the necessary things, like eating, shopping and feeding my cuties. Yesterday, I overhead Jane talking to someone on her phone and it was about me. In two days, she plans to make her friends jump me and kill me and my boys. Today is the day, I am leaving this pack as well as this state, California, for good. I hastily pack all my clothes, Han and Johanns’ clothes and some snacks for the journey ahead. I open the door and walk towards Jack's office. I make sure it is empty before entering, locking it behind me. I rum sack his office but find no money, until a picture of a random vase in the corner, catches my attention. I remove the photo and find a safe with a password. I remember once hearing beeping sounds coming from this room, but I thought it was h
