Henry smiled and nodded along. With both of us against it, Summer couldn’t really push it and agreed to postpone.
Once she left, I let out a quiet sigh of relief. Then, just as I glanced at the rearview mirror, I caught a glimpse of someone—Kevin Walker.
He looked like he was seeing us off. But with Henry driving so fast, I didn’t even get a clear look at his face before he disappeared from view.
