I’d assumed Victor’s mom kicked Ruth and the girls out because the family was broke, trying to save for the little brother’s wedding. But turns out she had been clenching her older son’s blood money in her hands the whole time and chose to spend it all on her younger son, tossing out the daughter-in-law and granddaughter like trash.
