Sebastian stood at the edge of the bed, his face dark.
The blanket Nancy had slept under still carried traces of her presence.
The corner of his mouth twitched as he then headed into the walk-in closet.
By the time he came downstairs in fresh loungewear, his usual cold, noble air had returned.
In the living room, Gianna sat on the couch with reddened eyes. Spotting him, she immediately stood and approached him with a pitiful expression. "Sebastian, are you feeling any better?"

Gianna's heart skipped a beat. She quickly explained, "No, Sebastian, you've got it all wrong! I just saw how sick you were, and Nancy suddenly appeared, trying to barge into your room. I was worried she might harm you, so I tried to stop her!"
