Adelyn stormed back into the Graham residence, her heels clicking furiously against the marble floor.
As soon as she stepped into the living room, she found her son lounging on the couch with a half-smoked cigarette between his fingers, ashes littered on the carpet.
Noticing how worked up she looked, Hansel frowned. "What's wrong, Mom?"
His mood was already in shambles as he couldn't stop thinking about Nancy—the woman who once bent over backward for him, yet now treated him with icy indifference.
Adelyn marched right up to him and rattled off everything that had happened at the restaurant. Then, she bombarded him with questions. "Why didn't you tell me you divorced that little tramp? Don't tell me you've actually fallen for her!"
The scene in the restaurant was like a thorn lodged in her heart. How dare that wretched woman talk to her in that manner? Worse still, she had gotten involved with Sebastian.
