My disoriented eyes landed on deep swirls of black ones as I swallowed.
My gaze shifted from his face and bile rose up my throat from anxiousness as I took in my environment.
The entire place was rough, filled with crates and cartons.
Some looked somewhat empty and others full.
My body froze in realization of what this meant.
