CATALINA'S POV
With a blanket wrapped around my legs, I sat on the edge of my bed and gazed at the area on the floor where blood had seeped through the sheets.
The pain wasn't of the usual kind.

I was already aware of my condition before the test confirmed it. Last week, when I looked in the mirror, I realised how exhausted I appeared, how weird I felt, and how differently my body moved.
