Juliet shook her head, her lips pale. "I'm fine, just a little tired."
The words had barely left her mouth when her stomach churned violently again. She covered her mouth and rushed toward the bathroom. "Ugh…"
Ariane followed close behind. She patted her back gently, eyes full of concern. "And you still say you're fine! If you go on like this, both you and the baby will be in trouble. What's more important—money or your lives?"
She helped Juliet back to the couch, her tone more serious than it had ever been. "Juliet, listen to me. If you've decided to keep this child, then you have to take responsibility. You're not alone anymore."
