“I didn’t look down on you…”
Gabrielle snorted, “You shouldn’t have looked down on me.”
She raised her hands, “To earn money for your tuition, I worked as a dishwasher in the dead of winter. My hands were submerged in water for nearly 20 hours a day. Even now, I still get painful and itchy chilblains in winter. ”
