Chapter 39 Double Loss

Elizabeth’s POV He stepped back and looked at Troy, his eyes had turned red from constant sobbing. "You didn't tell her?" he asked and a brief, incredulous silence followed. I looked at Troy, then at Odin, then back at Troy. "What are you talking about?" I asked, in an eerily low voice. They stared at me; their faces were indifferent. "Tell me!" I snarled, this time my voice was loud and clear, revealing the presence of Alpha blood in my veins . I didn't expect that though, considering I was not an alpha. "Elizabeth." Odin stopped and took a deep breath. "Alpha fainted as soon as he heard about Mike. Since then, he had woken up. The doctor said he was in coma." My heart stopped. "His wolf didn't respond either. Losing you and then losing Mike is a great loss. Most importantly, he could feel the pain and sorrow of the whole wolf pack. The doctor wasn't sure if he would wake up."
