AARON When we woke up the next morning, Jade was curled against me under the covers. Her arm slung over my chest. I looked down at her, taking in her beauty. Her eyes were closed, her long lashes brushing her cheeks, and her body rose and fell against mine with her rhythmic breathing. I just lay there for a while, letting her sleep, relishing in this feeling. I hadn’t thought I would ever feel something like this again. I’d thought I had it once––when Sabrina and I had been together, I’d thought I was as happy as I would ever get. After everything had gone wrong between us and Ben had arrived, I’d resigned myself to a life without this kind of love in it. It was better to focus on the important things; Ben was everything to me. Since Jade came into my life, I started to think that I could have more. Maybe, I could have everything I wanted. Jade moved against me and sighed before she opened her eyes. She glanced up at me, and a small smile turned up the corners of her mouth. “Good morni
