#Chapter 396 The Contract
Gavin’s POV
“Just sign along the dotted line,” Taylor instructed. “And then the contract is complete, and you’ll officially be in business together.”
I hesitated for a moment before I signed my name along the line, but eventually I did. The second my signature was sprawled on the contract, Zachary Blackwell clapped his hands together. I looked up at him, sitting on the other side of my desk with his leg crossed over the other. A smile lit up his face as he looked between Taylor and me.
“So, that’s a done deal then,” he said, his voice loud and proud. He holds out his hand for me to shake, and I shake it because it’s what you do during business transactions like this.
However, I couldn’t help but think that I sold my soul to the devil. I feel like I somehow did my late father a disservice by deciding to work with someone he deemed an enemy. Then again, it seemed as if my father was the true enemy in the situation.
“We should have a celebration. Drinks on me tonight,” Zacha
