Chapter 87 No Longer Alden's Wife
Thalia looked toward Alden's table. Kiera was still sitting in place. It was a surprise that Alden hadn't dragged her along.
Thalia turned to smile at Tyren as if she hadn't heard Alden. "Let's go."
Tyren looked as though he had been waiting for that to happen. Rising to his feet, he stood next to her and picked up his glass.
They walked past Alden and headed toward Geoffrey's table.
Alden chased after them. "Thalia, don't forget what you promised me. You said you'd help me get my hands on the Chromia Retreat project."
Thalia stopped and turned back to look at him coldly. "Mr. Crestfall, I've already quit my job. As for all my previous assignments, I've arranged them all accordingly and sent them to you via email."
Alden's face turned pale. "What did you say?"
"I sent my resignation letter to Quentin. Didn't he forward it to you?"
