Chapter 24
Out of nowhere, Giselle spotted someone familiar at the end of the hallway—Wynter Frost, known simply as Wynter. Her eyes lit up like she'd found a lifeline.
"Wynter!" she shouted.
Wynter, cigarette in hand, glanced lazily in her direction. Then, without a word, she turned away and walked off. It was as if she hadn't heard her.
The flicker of hope inside Giselle was snuffed out.
The three men tightened their circle around her. Freedom felt further and further out of reach.
A big, sweaty man with a bloated face—Hugo Pennington—grabbed her wrist. "Get a room, Adam."
Adam nodded and immediately pulled out his phone to call the front desk for a room reservation.
Completely alone and helpless, Giselle was dragged toward the rooms by Hugo. Her loud cries for help went unanswered. No one came.
Just as they passed the elevators, the doors slid open.
Giselle looked up in panic, grasping at her last hope.
Gavin stood there. His eyes were dark, bloodshot, and filled with murderous rag
