Gavin completely misunderstood what Giselle meant. "You're asking why I'm here? Didn't expect to get caught, did you? You left your sick daughter alone just to rush out and meet another man."
Giselle drew in a sharp breath. "It's not what you think, I—"
Gavin cut her off harshly. "Not what I think? You just stepped out of another man's car, didn't you? That Jeep costs 30,000 dollars, Giselle. When did you start selling yourself this cheap?"
Giselle shoved him away forcefully.
A cold laugh escaped her lips. "And what about you? You said you'd be at the hospital in five minutes. Yet you show up only now. You left Poppy alone in the hospital for hours. Do you even deserve to be called a father?"
