Timothy didn't even notice when Reagan had slipped out.
One second ago, he was in the office. Within the next moment, he was gone. Timothy scrambled up from his seat and hurried after him.
As soon as he stepped into the ward, Giselle recognized him as the youngest son of the Hawks family, from Greenville Heights.
"Mr. Hawks," she greeted.
Timothy nodded awkwardly.
Giselle knew that the eldest son of the Hawks family had opened a hospital specifically for his youngest brother. It was the best-equipped private medical facility in all of Kingswell, and Timothy served as its deputy director.
She never thought that Reagan would be able to call in someone of Timothy's rank so effortlessly.
Her gaze shifted to Reagan, who explained in a low voice, "Mr. Hawks is a friend of Mr. Simmon's. He's here as a favor."
Timothy was confused. What was that supposed to mean?
Giselle rasped, "Looks like I owe Mr. Simmon another favor."
