What Luther did was utterly ruthless.
Grace bit her lip tightly, no longer feeling the pain in her palms. Once, under Matthew's management, Mitchell Group had suffered financial losses, but it had at least still existed. Now, however, even the last remnants of Maxim's legacy were gone.
Grace understood that Luther was seeking revenge. She looked at the barren land where Mitchell Group's building once stood. Her throat tightened, and tears nearly spilled.
"It's the survival of the fittest. You're the CEO of Harrison Group, so you decide everything." She didn't realize her voice had become hoarse.
Luther was taken aback that Grace still refused to admit she hadn't lost her memory. He had expected her to question him, cry, or create a scene after seeing the destruction, but she did none of that.
In the past, when Grace looked at him, her eyes were full of light. Now, they were as dead and calm as a stagnant sea.
Luther's chest ached with a pang. He gripped her chin with his long fin
