Sebastian's response eased Vivienne's mind a little.
"Alright, tomorrow then. Will it be in the morning or—"
But before she could finish, the line went dead.
Vivienne stared at the disconnected call. However, she thought that Sebastian was probably in a rush to sign a contract, so she didn't bother calling back.
She figured she'd just ask him when he got home that night, but that evening, Sebastian never came home.
With no other choice, Vivienne sent him a text, "What time are you free tomorrow?"

The next morning, Vivienne took up the same spot in the café across from the family court. However, same as before, she waited the entire morning without receiving so much as a single reply from Sebastian.
By noon, Vivienne's patience was fraying, and she finally decided to call him.
But the call rang on, unanswered.
At least the day before, he'd picked up and said a few words to her. But now, he didn't even bother.
