Perhaps she truly was exhausted. Without Sebastian's disturbance, Vivienne quickly fell asleep.
She rested at home for a full three days. She used those three days to recover from the mental blow and the physical fatigue.
During those three days, Sebastian kept his word and didn't come to disturb her. Vivienne enjoyed the rare peace.

Downstairs, dinner preparations were underway. In the past three days, she had almost always eaten in her room and had rarely come downstairs.
