Quinn blinked, looking at me with inquisitive eyes. "It's exhausting to have your own company. You've got to deal with a lot of stuff, and most of them are complicated and tedious. It's far better to work for someone.
"What's more, becoming a business owner means taking on heavy responsibilities too. If anything goes south, you're the one who faces the consequences. No one's going to share the load with you."
I took a sip of my red wine and shook my head gently.
"As a man, I have to have ambitions and plan for my future. Also, I'll never know if I have what it takes to do it if I don't take that step and give it everything I've got."
