Shelton introduced Jeremy to me, "He is Patrick's assistant."  Looking enlightened all of a sudden, I said flatly, "Okay." Given my relationship with Patrick, I shouldn't be so polite to his assistant. Seeing that I didn't like him, Jeremy said nothing else.
