Aurora's POV I groaned as I changed positions on the bed. I should be soundly asleep, but it was barely midnight, and I was still struggling to shut my eyes. My stomach rumbled as I turned again and added another pillow to support my head. After two more attempts and the rumbling in my stomach won't stop, I jumped out of the bed, hurting my side a bit. I should have eaten enough before calling it a night! I muttered as I strolled out of the room. Before I could stop myself, I found myself in front of Xavier's door. I leaned and listened for awhile, but I heard nothing. He was probably busy with work activities. The Alpha barely slept. I knocked once, waited for a second, but didn't hear anything. I tried a few times and tried the door, but it was locked. Great. I knocked again, and after listening for a few minutes and not hearing anything, I almost gave up, but the rumbling in my stomach grew louder and I almost let out a cry.
