Irene’s POV
“Come with me,” I instructed them and turned to go out to the middle of the training ground. I sat on the ground and Tina and Leni arranged them in four rolls as they sat opposite me.
“We would have to study how to connect with our wolf today,” I said to them. A few were still puzzled while other were smiling, like Cassie smiled as she stared at me.
I didn’t know if it was out of admiration that I was doing well, or if it was out of excitement that she would learn something new.
“How many of you know your wolf by name?” I asked and they all raised their hands. “Good. Good. That’s progress. Now I will pick it from here.”
I drew deep breaths, then I closed my eyes. “I need you all to take three deep breaths, with your eyes closed.”
After a few seconds I opened my eyes a bit to make sure that they had done as I asked. They had all complied.
“I want you to call her name. Call the name of your wolf just once, but you must be cool headed and let your tone be sharp but calm.”
