Jake came sprinting through the house, taking the stairs in twos. Once he'd locked in on Alex's scent, there was no going back. He threw the door open, looking directly at Alex as if he'd seen him through the door before he even looked inside the room. "Baby?" Alex just whined, not wanting to move as his tears continued to cascade down his face and directly onto Scott's arm. Jake ran over, throwing his arms around Alex as tightly as he could.
