Chapter 35

I shook my head, clearing any unnecessary thoughts from my mind before making my way to the bathroom. I turned on the light, shutting the door behind me and turning on the faucet. With a heavy sigh, I looked at myself in the mirror. I seemed to look paler than usual, as if the day's discoveries had completely drained me. I had to admit, although I had only found out that I was indeed surrounded by people that had the ability to turn into wolves, I couldn't help but feel all tired out about it. It was like my life was making a complete U-turn after I moved into town. Like I had hopped onto a roller-coaster ride and there was no end to it; and the ironic part was, I hated roller-coasters. They always made me sick and weak in the knees. Yeah, not so much fun on my part. I began to brush my teeth until I heard a weird sound outside my door. My hand froze, my mouth hanging open as I listened closely. I was met by complete and utter silence. Without a second thought, I shrugged
