Chapter 73: The Hunt 2

I jogged beside Cassandra and Millie until we came upon a large deer. I fell silent and crouched next to both of them, waiting for them to take their place. Suddenly, Millie launched forward followed by Cassandra's large form. In a few seconds, they both took down the deer and began to celebrate. "That was cool," I said to both of them, but as soon as Millie turned to me with her mouth stained with red blood, she growled. "Millie," I said, backing up further away from both of them. Their eyes didn't look normal. "What's wrong with both of you?" I continued backing up until my back hit a tree. "Oh snap," I said, looking up the tree and starting to climb. They both turned towards me and began scratching against the tree as I climbed. "Help!" I screamed. I climbed until I was at a safe distance from both of them and tried screaming again. "Rosie! Riley! Somebody help!" I turned to both of them and found their eyes red. "Oh no," I said, shaking my head. "Somebody help! Please!"
