Chapter 72

"That was weird!" I whisper worried and look around me again. "It is okay. Everything is fine, it was just your imagination." She assures me calmly. "What if something is wrong? What if the others have problems?" I ask and start getting panicked. "We would have known. Do you want to go back? Are you ready?" "No! I don't feel ready." I reply immediately and tighten my hold around El. "Then we are staying here until you are. Go and drink some tea, your nerves are awful, you won't be able to sleep like this." I sigh frustrated but in the end I nod in agreement. I get up carefully and as gently as I can in order not to wake up El and after I check one more time that everything is alright I get out of the room and close the door behind me. I walk downstairs quickly and head to the kitchen. I am ready to get in when I hear Ann calling me. "Ember? What is wrong?" I jump up and
