Silvie’s POV
Kyle’s words echoed in my mind.
‘…together during work hours, outside of Lunaris premises…’
How had he found out? Unless… I recalled the wide window behind Kyle’s chair that was mostly always open to let natural light in. I didn’t know what the view down below was because I’d never checked it, but if I had to guess from where our office was positioned in the building, it had a wide view of the front of Lunaris where I’d stood hours earlier till Dean approached me.
Swallowing, I met Kyle’s empty gaze, imploring, “Mr. Blackwell, I didn’t go down to meet with Dean. It was merely a coincidence that we met downstairs.”
“Was it also a coincidence that you got in his car?”
