Chapter 50 A Change of Hands

Natalie strutted out of the office. The crisp sound of her heels clacking against the tiles echoed through the corridor. She took a deep breath. Finally, she had taken back everything that should have belonged to Seraphina. Behind her, Hailey screeched in tears. "You'd better watch out, Natalie Lunsford! I won't let this go!" Without turning back, Natalie chuckled as she headed straight to the lifts. At the same time, Hailey was nestled into Audrey's arms in the presidential office of the Lunsford Corporation, sobbing. "Mom, what should we do?" By then, Audrey had already calmed down. The dust had settled. Even if she was devastated, it wouldn't change their current situation. What she had to do now was to think of a way to prevent Natalie, that little bitch, from taking over the company easily. As she ran her hand down Hailey's back comfortingly, Audrey's gaze turned icy. "Stop crying, Hal." Audrey comforted Hailey. Her voice hardened as she said, "It's not over yet."
