"I'm here," Claude said before hanging up.
He lowered the phone from his ear, staring straight ahead as he gripped it tightly. Nearby, Neil watched the scene, looking nervous.
After a few moments, Claude broke the silence. "Bring her over."
Neil glanced at the crowd and asked hesitantly, "Are you sure this is the right time, sir? Given the situation…"
"Tell the media she's lost her mind since her husband was arrested," Claude replied, his tone cold and certain.
Neil was shocked, and after a pause, he stammered, "U-Understood, sir."
He stepped out of the car and made his way toward the crowd. They were all focused on Sophie, so no one noticed Neil approaching at first. Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks and spoke up loudly, "I'm sorry to interrupt."
