Olivia didn't return to her condo. Instead, she checked into a hotel nearby.
Once settled, she pulled up her home surveillance footage. Just as she suspected, someone had entered her place. She knew right away that her home had been searched, though she couldn't tell who was responsible.
It could've been someone working for Claude, or maybe one of Tyler's men. Either way, she knew the report she had was a risk—a ticking time bomb that could put her in danger anytime. She needed to get rid of it, and fast.
As she stared at her phone, an idea struck her: Mary. Without hesitating, she dialed Mary's number.
The phone rang for a long time with no answer, and Olivia's frown deepened. Was something wrong?
Just as she was about to hang up, someone finally picked up. "Ma'am?" came Mary's voice.
Olivia felt relieved. Mary sounded calm, which eased some of her nerves.
"Are you home now?" she asked, hoping everything was okay.
