Rachel sat in Emma’s cozy living room, a steaming cup of coffee in hand. Emma lounged on the sofa opposite her, looking pensive as Rachel flipped through her notes. The warm light from the lamp cast a gentle glow over the room, providing a contrast to the tension in the air.
“So, I’ve dug into Olivia’s background,” Rachel began, her tone serious. “But there’s nothing substantial. It’s as if she’s vanished. There’s no trace of her recent activities or whereabouts.”
Emma’s brow furrowed. “What about her friend Catherine? I’m sure Olivia mentioned her.”
Rachel looked up from her notes, puzzled. “Are you sure her name is Catherine?”
“Yes, I’m certain,” Emma replied. “She was important to Olivia.”
Rachel shook her head. “I couldn’t find anyone by that name connected to Olivia. However, there is another name that came up—Siobhan.”
“Siobhan?” Emma echoed, surprised. “I’ve never heard that name before.”
“Yes, and I tried digging into Siobhan’s background, but it was like hitting a wall.
