Oliver was dumped onto the bustling streets, surrounded by a sea of passersby who pointed and whispered as they walked by. Yet, no one stopped to help. Public brawls were a common sight here in Moria, and no one was willing to get involved with a stranger.
Bruised and bloodied, he staggered to his feet, forcing his battered body to move. He had no choice but to make his way to the hospital alone.
"Cynthia, I won't give up," he muttered under his breath.
Zayne's earlier beating and warnings hadn't deterred him. Instead, they had fueled the fire within him. He was more determined than ever to take Cynthia back, no matter the cost.
