"Nancy, as a veteran of the company, is it appropriate to blame mistakes on newcomers?" Daniel's tone was harsh, almost spitting fire, and he would not allow anyone to slander Blanche.
"Daniel, do you think I'm shirking responsibility?" Nancy looked at him in disbelief.
She had followed Daniel for ten years, not just as his lover, but also as his assistant in work.
