I stood in the backyard of the pack house, watching the organized chaos unfold before me. Workers scurried back and forth, transforming the space with white chairs, floral arches, and strings of twinkling lights that would illuminate tomorrow evening's ceremony. The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the lawn, and the air was thick with the scent of fresh flowers and freshly cut grass.
"Caroline's really outdone herself this time," Noah said, appearing beside me and throwing an arm around my shoulders. He was already dressed casually for tonight's bachelor party in dark jeans and a gray henley. "Remember my wedding? She nearly had an aneurysm when the flower delivery was ten minutes late."
