Chapter 25
At the moment, Gregory was in his office. He'd just finished tending to the red swelling on the back of Olivia's hand when his phone buzzed.
After picking it up, he saw Sebastian's text and felt a wave of exasperation.
Sebastian's disdain for Cassandra was nothing new. Gregory paid it little mind and set the phone aside.
In that short period, Olivia had tidied the medical kit he'd brought over.
"I'll take care of it," he said, reaching for it.
But Olivia gently pulled it away and shot him a playful smile. "If you fuss over a little scrape like this, I'll probably be out of a job by tomorrow."
Gregory was amused by her joke, seeing that the slight frown on his brow eased slightly.
Suddenly, Olivia leaned in and raised her fingers to touch his brows. He froze but made no attempt to pull away.
"Don't frown because of me, Greg. I like it better when you smile," she softly murmured and tiptoed as her clear, bright eyes looked directly into his, just like years ago when she used to
