Katelyn’s POV When the car stopped, I was too busy looking at my phone to notice where we were. I only realized something was different when Ethan turned off the engine and stepped out, moving quickly to my side. He opened my door and held out his hand. There was a strange, quiet excitement in his eyes. I stepped out of the car and felt cool air against my face. At first, all I could see was darkness, but as my eyes adjusted, I realized we were standing at the edge of a wide, open meadow. The grass was tall and soft, bending in the night wind. Sprinkled across the field were clusters of flowers, tiny wild daisies, pale pink petals, little blue flowers that looked almost silver under the moon. What stunned me most was the sky. There were more stars than I could count. They filled the sky from one horizon to the other, some bright, some faint, all of them twinkling clearly. I stopped in my tracks.
