Katelyn‘s POV The café was warm and smelled faintly of roasted coffee beans and alcohol from the small bar in the corner. I sat in a booth by the window, my coat draped over the seat beside me. Outside, people hurried past on the sidewalk, the streetlights already flickering on though it was still early evening.
