Nadia screamed hysterically.
Her emotions triggered a change in the surrounding environment. The wind howled, and the leaves rustled. The fresh flowers in front of the gravestone were blown away.
A good friend of hers picked up a fallen flower and threw it forcefully onto the ground, shouting, "Don't pollute Nadia's grave with this trash!"
They then all left together.
After they walked away, Jessica approached the gravestone while holding the umbrella. The furious Nadia fell silent as she looked at her gravestone.
She stared quietly at the bright, smiling woman in the photo on the tombstone. She murmured, "I didn't know I could smile so happily."
Nadia tried imitating her smile in the photo. She curved her eyes and lifted the corners of her mouth, revealing her white teeth.
Turning around, she asked Jessica, "Do I look the same as in the photo?"
Jessica glanced at the photo on the gravestone, where the light in her eyes was evident. Then, she looked at the dead Nadia.
