Noah stumbled out of the hotel in a daze. He locked those people in a private event room, leaving them to endure punishment day after day until Isabelle chose to forgive them. Noah drove aimlessly as snowflakes drifted down outside the window. Each landing snowflake felt like a heavy blow to his heart. Isabelle's desperate words kept echoing in his ears.
