Author’s POV
Hearing the opinion of one of their colleagues, neither Jude nor Dillan said a word. Dillan thought that if this collaboration went ahead, he would still have to ask Moira for her approval, while Jude had his own thoughts.
For him, the company came first. So even if it meant dealing with Moira, someone he might have avoided, he wouldn't mind.
Avoid? He was not sure if that was the reality he was facing. It could be that there was a reason and purpose behind why Jude finally lifted his face, grabbed a napkin, and wiped the corner of his mouth before uttering a sentence that was quite surprising to Dillan.
"I think that's a good idea. Of course we can work together if you agree, Mr. Smith," Jude said.
