Chapter 331
The fire extinguisher slammed into the wall with a deafening bang. Michael Anderson charged in holding half a fire hydrant chain, the metal loop at the end slicing through the air under the emergency lights and expertly coiling around the lead shadow’s wrist that gripped a knife.
“Let him go!” he barked, swinging with full force and slamming the guy into the wall.
Charles Hart took the chance to elbow an attacker behind him in the temple, but staggered from blood loss. Michael stepped in front of him without hesitation, swinging that chain like a whip at another guy holding a stun gun.
“Hold the door!” Michael shouted over his shoulder. “I’ll handle this!”
“Cut the crap!” Charles wiped the blood from his mouth, grabbed a broken chair leg off the floor. “They’re after her. No one’s getting out of here.”
They stood back-to-back, a bloody shield against the attackers. The shadows exchanged glances, then pulled out folding knives and closed in, forming a triangle.
