Marsha was far from calm after getting home—still fuming about how Liliana completely stole the spotlight at the charity gala.
Clinging to her parents' hands, she whined, "Mom, Dad, do you even know what I went through today? Liliana nearly drove me crazy!"

To them, Marsha was their only daughter worth caring about. Liliana? She might as well be a weed by the road—completely irrelevant.
