'Roxy, wake up!’ Adrian spoke to her as she lay still. ‘Bring the smelling salt!’ he ordered. Roxy coughed after sniffing, and comes awake. ‘What is this stunt you are pulling?’ he asked. ‘Stunt?’ she asked looking around at all the people gathered. Adrian got the message. ‘Leave us, everyone!’ ‘Iris, you should too!’ Adrian said to the shock of Iris who had come to see how Roxy was faring. ‘Adrian, we just got married. Whatever she wants to say to you, she can say in my presence. We have no secrets from each other!’ Iris said. ‘Do as I command, Iris!’ Adrian said in a hard voice. He had never used such a voice on Iris before and Iris was very shocked and speechless. Today, they were supposed to be happiest and mating lovingly, Adrian was snapping at her as though they were foes or as though they were having a row’. ‘Alright.
