Once the grades for the monthly test were out, Jonah and Lily became wary of another threat.
It never occurred to them that Scarlett would intentionally score lower—instead, they assumed that it was the best she could do.
With one month left to the SATs, she wouldn't threaten their positions since she was ranked 70th in school.
