The Breakfast With His
Family
(From Rachelle's Perspective)
I thought I was going to pass out from nervousness. With the anticipation of meeting his family, it was difficult to breathe. What if they did not like me? What if they would want to throw me away? He would not do it, would he?
"Demetrius?"
"Yes?"
"What if they don't like me? Will they throw me out? Will you throw me out?" I asked.
"Of course not, Rachelle. They will like you. And I'll never throw you out. No one has the right to do so," he replied gently.
He held my hand as he guided me down the steps, and I felt as if his hand was the only thing keeping me upright. He led me to the dining room, which alone was the size of the conference room of our school. I noticed there was a table in the middle with a balcony in the front as we entered the room.
The room did not need any candles for lighting; the sunlight- filled that need properly.
A woman with fiery red hair smiled at me.Her eyes were similar to Demetrius's. I
