Chapter103: The Great Panic

It would be a lie if Bryan said he wasn't worried. Truly, he was currently under a tremendous panic attack. However, Bryan didn't show it in front of his son and wife. Bryan just returned and slowly opened the door to Jason's hospital room. He had two paper bags in his hands. One contained food, while the other contained a change of clothes for Angeline. Jason waved as he saw his father arrive. Bryan smiled bitterly. What a pity for his son, having to adapt to the IV tube stuck in his hand. Let him guess, it must be uncomfortable. "Dad," Jason greeted. The boy's eyes looked puffy. Jason was crying hysterically when the nurse inserted the IV needle. Pain and soreness, that's what Jason said over and over again. Jason only calmed down after one of the nurses gave him a toy. The toy car is still in Jason's lap, while Angeline closes her eyes in a sitting position. "Let Mommy rest," Bryan said in a low voice. He deliberately kept one finger to his lips to prevent Jason from making a scene.
